Resume Heaven is a monthly newsletter that reaches people all over the globe and runs entirely on open source software.
This means it is more stable, inexpensive (compared to proprietary software), and is an excellent way to help promote your organisation's image.
In the case of Resume Heaven we used the WordPress blogging platform to run the newsletter, Twitter to create a community to help promote it, and FeedBurner to ensure it arrives in people's email inbox as soon as it is published.
