Cross-posting
For the time being, you are not allowed to automatically cross-post from other social networks to our instance. If it’s found that you don’t respond to cross-posted interactions from external accounts on the instance, you will be considered as lurking and will be removed. Using twitter atlinks, like @jack@twitter.com is also discouraged.
Animal Products
On this instance, we adopt non-speciesist values and keep our timeline free of animal cruelty. We do not allow pictures of dead animals, or animal products.
Brands & Products
While it is encouraged on the instance to share personal projects, it is discouraged to use the platform as a “brand”, or to use your account solely to do repeated advertisement of products. You’re welcome to add fundraising links to your profile description, and to share them on the local timeline from time to time.

In our effort to build a haven from technocratic projects at odds with the instance values of social and ecologic justice, we do not use the local feed to debate technologies of control that centralizes power and accelerate the devastation of the natural world. Conversations on the potential of cryptocurrencies, chatbots and slopcoding are best held elsewhere.
Posts about AI, critical or not, will get flagged and removed from the local feed, use unlisted or followers-only.

NSFW content is permitted, but only under these conditions:
- Put your post under a Content Warning.
- Include “nsfw” in the text of the Content Warning.
Do not post any content that is illegal in the US or EU.

The instance values the use of the Local Feed, and use it as a way to engage with each other. As to allow everyone to participate in ongoing topics, please refrain from making threads in the local feed, after making a first post public, use Unlisted to give others a chance to post in-between.
